The Academy
The Academy is a paid internship built for current and former college and pro athletes ready to build a career off the field. Whether you’re still competing, in school, or figuring out what comes next, it’s your chance to step into the real world of building companies and work alongside some of the best in the business.
How we got here
No roadmap, no easy breaks, and a lot of figuring things out the hard way. We lived the moment the game ends and the paycheck stops — when the discipline and the drive are still there, but nobody hands you the next opportunity. Breaking into a new career is tough, let alone advancing in one.
We noticed that some of the most talented, hardest-working people we knew — athletes — were missing from the rooms and the tables where careers get built. So we decided to do something about it.
The Academy was built to give the next generation of athlete-builders a real opportunity. Not busy work. Not coffee runs. But meaningful projects, mentorship, and momentum that launch careers. This is our way of unlocking hidden talent, offering genuine experience, and helping you build a portfolio that actually opens doors.

What you’ll work on
Think like an operator
Sit in on real planning. Research markets, shape positioning, and help set the direction for athletes building companies.
Tell the story
Write, edit, and ship copy and creative that reaches the room where athletes build, from the show to the brief.
Build the audience
Produce and program across our channels. Learn how a daily live show and a growing community actually get made.
Own the relationships
Support real deals with real brands and partners, from first outreach to activation and follow-through.
Where it happens
The Academy runs out of our home base in Arizona. We’re big believers in in-person collaboration and mentorship — you’ll learn side by side with people across strategy, design, media, copywriting, project management, and more.
